About IELTS Speaking Test
It is conducted face to face with an examiner and is same for both academic and general.
If anyone is going with the computer deliverred test then also the speaking test remains the same.
It is an informal speaking test and also recorded so that one can ask for a break if needed.
the time and length of the test varies as it's controlled by the examiner.
The test starts with the ID check and greetings. After that, the 1st task ie introductory, then the 2nd one ie. Cue card and finally the last task ie Discussion
IELTS Speaking part 1 question types-
Time and Frequency: “How often do you? / How long have you?”
Personal Preferences: “Do you like? / Do you prefer?”
Closed Questions: “Do you / Can you / Is it / Are you / Did you?”
Your country: “What do people in your country…”
IELTS Speaking part 2 question types
1. Describe a teacher that you know.
You should say:
what the teacher looks like
what sort of person this teacher is
what the teacher helped you to learn
and explain why this teacher is popular.
2. Describe someone who has had an important influence on your life.
You should say:
Who the person is
How long you have known him/her
What qualities this person has
Explain why they have had such an influence on you.
IELTS Speaking part 3 question types
1. Influences on the young
What type of people influence the young in your country?
Why it is important to have role models?
Do you think the education system in your country influences young people’s behaviour?
What type of person (parents, teachers, friends etc) are best to influence young people’s behaviour?
What do you think young people will be most influenced by it in the future?
2. Sports
What types of sports are popular in your country?
What are the benefits of playing a sport?
Do you think the types of sport that are popular will change in the future?
how can sports bring people from different countries closer together?
